Within the framework of the project: Danish Support to the Albanian Ombudsman – Reaching out to Local Communities, Civil Society and the Media (2012-15), funded by the Danish MFA, SKL International organized a study visit to Sweden for a delegation from the Albanian Ombudsman institution (AP) from 1 – 4 June 2015.

Helping victims of domestic violence is a task for municipalities in most countries. But prevention and treatment of perpetrators of such violence should also be addressed. SKL International welcomed a delegation from Serbia on March 30 for a four-day study visit to Stockholm and Sigtuna. Delegates from the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities and the Ministry of Public Affairs and Local Self-Government met counterparts from the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) and the Ministry of Finance.

On March 9-10, SKL International received a high-level delegation from Ukraine to discuss the country’s reform agenda and share relevant experiences from Swedish reforms. The delegation consisted of a group of reform-oriented Ukrainian parliamentarians and Dmytro Shymkiv, the Director of the Executive Committee of Ukraine’s National Reform Council (NRC).
