Currently working with: Advisor (part time) within the Symbio City Approach – a Sida financed global project, aiming to promote sustainable urban development on local level, particularly in low and middle income countries.

Professional profile: Urban development planning and urban design on a strategic, comprehensive and detailed level, sustainable urban development at local level.

Klas Groth is an urban planner with more than 10 years of experience from urban development on local level in Sweden (City of Stockholm), as well as experiences from international development cooperation within various Sida financed urban development programmes and projects, mainly in a Sub-Saharan context. Klas is employed part time combining the Symbio City Approach with his current employment as architect/urban planner at the City Planning Administration of Stockholm.
