FOINCIDE is starting collaboration with Pontificia Universidad Javeriana

The FOINCIDE project is initiating a collaboration with Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in order to strengthen the institutional knowledge of participative methodologies and civil dialogues in the pilot municipalities of FOINCIDE.

Together with professors from the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations the FOINCIDE project will offer a course of 100 academic hours directed to civil servants and civil society leaders in the 4 municipalities (Ciénaga, Florida, Montelíbano y Apartadó) taking part in FOINCIDE starting in September 2017. In order to prepare the professors and to share theories and experiences of participation and civil dialogue internationally and from Sweden particularly, a set of webinars will be held with key collaborators of SALAR (the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions) previous to the course.

On 21 June the first webinar was held with Anna-Karin Berglund on the theme of the Code of Good Practice for Civil Participation in the Decision-Making Process and the methodology called Learning Village.
