New project in Belarus

SKL will support local self governance in a three year project in Belarus financed by Sida.

The project is a continuation of previous support to Belarus focused on the local level. This phase of support will, in addition to work on policy frameworks at national level for local governance, build on concrete actions to support citizens’ involvement in public affairs and service improvement in the two regional and local projects of Vitebsk region and the city of Baranovitji.

As Belarus is the country with the second most frequent Swedish partnership programs between municipalities, the project will also interact with these partners in support of good practices.
