The extensive experiences of Swedish municipalities in using data to define and publish a wide range of performance indicators in education was an integrated the part of the visit.
In order to allow participants to better understand the context of how to work with data, the visit also included a thorough review of fundamentals of the Swedish models of education decentralization and allocation of responsibilities between central and local government.
The study visit should be understood as a crucial part of capacity building and training of targeted key beneficiaries in the Support to Decentralization in Ukraine Project carried out by SKL International.
